1. Preparation for equipment
Our team arrives, parks the truck, and sets up safety cones if needed. They carefully run the hose from the truck to your driveway, making sure to avoid plants, furniture, or anything else in the way. As they move the hose to the water source, they check the area for any issues and make note of them to be ready for the cleaning process.
2. Pre-treat Concrete
Then, we apply a special cleaner to the surface, allowing it to soak into the concrete and break down dirt and grime. It also helps get rid of unwanted organisms like moss, algae, mold, and mildew. After that, we rinse away the cleaner and any loosened dirt using fresh water.
3. Apply Cleaner (Maybe Sealer)
We begin the deep cleaning of your driveway by adjusting the dispenser to ensure the right flow of cleaners and water. Then, we clean at a steady pace to make sure no dirty spots are left behind.
For concrete less than three years old, we use a wand attachment for a soft wash since it hasn’t fully dried. For older concrete, we use a surface cleaner for a more thorough wash.
After cleaning, we rinse the entire driveway with fresh water, starting from the highest point and pushing water toward the drainage. This washes away any loosened dirt and prepares the surface for our high-quality siloxane sealer.
Finally, we check for any problem areas and apply the sealer, making sure it fully absorbs into the concrete.
4. Finishing Up
We detach the hose from your water spigot and carefully return all equipment to our truck. Anything we adjusted on your property is put back in its original place. Then, we walk with you to the treated areas and explain the work we’ve done. If you have any questions or notice any spots that need attention, we’ll address them and re-treat the areas if necessary.
Effective Cleaning: Pressure washing is one of the most efficient ways to clean concrete surfaces, removing dirt, grime, and stains quickly.
Removes Stubborn Stains: It can help get rid of tough stains like oil, grease, mold, mildew, and even rust from concrete.
Prevents Damage: Regular pressure washing can prevent long-term damage by removing contaminants that could break down the concrete over time.
Boosts Curb Appeal: Cleaning your driveway or walkway can significantly improve the appearance of your home, making it look cleaner and well-maintained.
Improves Safety: Pressure washing removes slippery substances like algae and moss, which can cause accidents if left untreated.
Sealing Helps: After pressure washing, applying a sealer to the concrete helps protect it from stains and weather damage, keeping it looking new longer.
Prepares for Other Projects: Pressure washing prepares your concrete surfaces for other maintenance tasks, such as resealing or repairs.
Uses High-Pressure Water: The process uses a high-pressure stream of water to clean, which makes it more effective than regular cleaning methods like scrubbing.
Environmentally Friendly: Pressure washing only uses water and sometimes a mild cleaning solution, making it an eco-friendly option for cleaning concrete.
Requires Skill: Pressure washing concrete requires the right technique to avoid damaging the surface. Using too much pressure or the wrong nozzle can cause etching or other damage.
